What to include

The more of this list is in your first message, the faster we can help:

1. Your GTATweaker account email.
2. App version — it is at the bottom of Settings in the app.
3. Game edition — Steam, Rockstar Games Launcher or Epic Games; regular GTA V or Enhanced.
4. What you did — step by step: which tweak or setting you turned on, what you clicked.
5. What you saw — the full error text or a screenshot.

An example of a good request:

Email: ivan@example.com. App 0.1.8, GTA V from Steam (not Enhanced). I turned on “Disable grass”, clicked “Apply” and got an error, screenshot attached. The game was closed at the time.

Never send your account password: support does not need it.

Frequently asked questions

Windows says “Windows protected your PC”

That is SmartScreen: it warns about any program that does not have a paid developer signature yet. Click “More info” → “Run anyway”. Download the installer only from gtatweaker.com.

The app does not start

• The app needs the internet at startup: it checks for updates and your sign-in. Check your connection, VPN and antivirus.
• If the window does not appear at all, restart the computer and launch the app again.
• Still stuck — write to us with the app version and what exactly happens.

Tweaks are not applied

• Close GTA V: while the game is running, the app does not change its files.
• Tweaks work with regular GTA V (Legacy). The Enhanced edition is not supported yet.
• Check that “Change game path” in the app's Settings points to the folder that contains GTA5.exe.

Tweaks disappeared after a GTA V update

A game update replaces its archives. Open the app and click “Apply” again.

How to restore the game to its original state

In the app: Settings → “Restore the game” → “Restore”. The app removes every tweak and puts the graphics settings back as they were before GTATweaker. If the game still does not start, verify the game files in your launcher (in Steam: game properties → “Installed Files” → “Verify integrity of game files”).

How to undo graphics changes

On the Graphics tab, the round arrow to the left of “Apply”: if the sliders are not applied yet, it puts them back as they were; if they are, it rolls back the last apply.
